May I give you a very warm welcome to the Peak Care Website.

At Peak Care our Ethos is corporate strength underpinned by family values. This philosophy is at the heart of everything that we do and simply reflects the vision and principles of my own heart. It has been our honour to provide high quality residential care since 1983. We believe that great places are measured not by the quality of the architecture, but by the emotions they provoke in the people who experience them.

Wherever a person fits in we are here to uplift and give care and support with joy and true compassion often making peoples' dreams a reality bringing fulfilment and peace of mind.

I hold the following qualifications: SRN - State Registered Nurse, RMN - Registered Mental Nurse, CPN - Community Psychiatric Nurse - Diploma in Management.

Matlock Farm Park

Their aim is to offer farmyard fun for all ages, all year round, in the fresh air and tranquillity of the countryside. Matlock Farm has a plethora of lovely animals to meet, feed and cuddle with a shop to browse and cosy cafe to visit. A perfect place on a sunny day.

Matlock Town Centre

Matlock is situated in the south-eastern region of the Peak District and buzzes with Boutiques, Gift Shops, Florists, quaint Coffee Shops and Restaurants that satisfy our taste buds, beautiful parks, and fun areas for the children.

Darwin Forest Country Park

Darwin Forest is one of the UK's top holiday parks. Their on-site facilities include the Evolution Health & Fitness Centre, which has a swimming pool, spa, gym, and beauty rooms. With their on-site sporting activities and restaurant, it is a great place to exercise, swim and relax.

Chesterfield Town Centre

The compact, friendly environment of Chesterfield town centre is home to High Street names, a wealth of Independents and of course the Town's famous outdoor market. Explore narrow medieval streets such as The Shambles for unique independent shops or visit Vicar Lane and The Pavements Shopping Centre for popular high street names. And do not forget Chesterfield Market one of the biggest open-air markets in the Country.

Crich Tramway Village

Be transported back in time on vintage trams. Soak up the atmosphere in their recreated period street with a visit to the shops and take refreshments in the tearooms and pub. Enjoy unlimited tram journeys calling at various stops along the long track.

Chatsworth House

Chatsworth House is a stately home in Derbyshire and has been chosen as Britain's favourite Country House several times. It has been home to the Cavendish family since 1549. The house is set in expansive parkland and looks on the low hills between the Derwent and Wye valleys. It contains major collections of paintings, sculptures, books, and other artefacts. A wonderful place to visit and enjoy with friends and family.

Haddon Hall

Haddon Hall is the private residence of Lord and Lady Edward Manners and is set in the valley of the River Wye. With nine hundred years of history, it is one of the oldest houses in the country and moreover one of the only houses in England to have remained in one family's ownership for its entire existence. Haddon Hall is unique as it remained empty for nearly two hundred years since from the 1700s the family preferred to live at their main seat, Belvior Castle in Leicestershire. Venturing into Haddon Hall is like stepping back in time.

Hardwick Hall

Hardwick Hall is one of the finest Elizabethan buildings in the country.

Full of architectural and artistic delights from Elizabethan embroidery and tapestries, to the extensive collection of textiles, furniture, paintings, ceramics and other decorative objects. A walk through the Hall is always an enjoyable experience.

Sheffield Town Centre

Sheffield is a city in the English county of South Yorkshire. In the city, the Millennium Gallery houses metalworks and art from Sheffield and around the world. It adjoins the Winter Garden, a large temperature controlled glasshouse filled with plants. Kelham Island Museum covers the city's industrial heritage. The nearby countryside is part of Peak District National Park, characterised by moorland and rocky ridges.

Peak Care is situated in the village of Ashover and can be approached from Matlock or Chesterfield by turning on to the B6036 from the A632 at Kelstedge or approached from the Alfreton direction following the A61 and again turning on to the B6036.
